Everyone said Part 3 would be good till the end, they said. What they did not tell me was that my heart would end with it too. (also God I need to stop listening to Touhou while reading)

2012 ended on a quiet note for me, just hanging out with my family and having supper into the new year. Alsoooo here’s a huge thank you to everyone that’s been following me! Best wishes for the new year. :)

ahaha ok so this is one part of my recent trip to Taiwan. I have to admit though, Eslite is an extremely pretty building and I absolutely adore its music store… we don’t have music stores like that anymore in Malaysia, and it was so good to just stand around and sample various CDs. Also what fascinated me the most was its fairly large selection of Indie, Indie Electronica and Trance in general! Now if only they had IAMX in stock. :(

inspired heavily by MBLAQ’s Cry and 華鳥風月 from Touhou. Have always loved the parts when the MBLAQ members fall into water… so graceful and beautiful.

anyways I’m really glad Part 2 is airing now! I really never expected myself to like it THIS much, the beginning was a real pain to read through but after the party busted Santana’s ass, things got better and I’ve never been touched by a BURNING FRIENDSHIP (Joseph and Caesar’s) for so long ;;

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS!!! I really, really enjoyed this movie. It’s been such a long time since I’ve watched a movie that fills you with pure wonder and those feelings you had as a child, where it was easy to believe? I am easily touched so it could just be me though.

Didn’t expect myself to love EVERYONE in this show, yes, including Pitch. It’s hard not to love them all. My favourite Guardian though is ACTUALLY the Sandman, what with all his gestures (GJ Dreamworks team!!!), followed by Jack and Tooth Fairy then Santa then- oh GOD I JUST LOVE EVERYONE. I also really liked Jack and Baby Tooth’s little interactions. AND PHIL, THE POOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER YETI.

Mmm perhaps some parts of the story could be tighter and dialogue reworked, but being nitpicky aside, it is a great movie. Something I think we all should leave our judgemental adult logic aside, and enjoy it for what it is— especially in these cynical times that we currently live in. It truly is nice to be reminded of the curiosity, and wonder, that we all had as a child. (…ok I teared when Santa/North was talking about this……..)

Finally done with this! It’ll be turned into either a free postcard or poster, depending, it’ll be bundled together with Max’s Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance doujinshi that will be sold at Comic Fiesta 2012 :)

God I love the M83 vs Big Black Delta Remix of “The Fall” from the TRON Reconfigured album— which was the inspiration for this I guess. Although quirky, they made the original song even more interesting with their take!
